What should I bring when my pet stays at Carden Kennels?
At Carden Kennels Country Club, we provide your pet with everything they will need. However if you wish to bring the following you may:
Own treats
Medication (in original container)
Safe toys
T-shirt or small towel with your scent on it
Coat - for colder weather
We provide highly nutritious tasty food for your pet, or if you prefer you may bring your own.
* Please Note: We will make every effort to return these items, however they may not be returned or they may be returned in poor condition. Please be aware that you are assuming this risk when you leave belongings with your pet.

Rawhides & pigs’ ears
Toys that may become a choking hazard
Bedding
Which Vaccinations are Required?
Dogs: We require current rabies and distemper. Bordatella is recommended for your pets health but not required.
Cats: FVCRP and Rabies.
We also recommend that your pet be on some type of flea and tick preventative. We will do a “flea check” upon arrival, if needed your pet will be given a flea bath.
* If necessary, your pet's vaccination records can be e-mailed or faxed to us by your vet.
Check-in/Check-out hours?
Any time during our office hours which are M-F 7:15-5:30, Sat 7:30-12 and Sun 5-6. Boarding is charged by the day not the overnight, so there is no need to rush in for pick-up.
What is required to make a reservation?
Please call us. We will need your contact information, plus emergency contact information. Pets name and breed, up-to-date vaccination records on file (may be faxed to 207-942-5982). We will ask what type of accommodations you would like for your pet. Dates of arrival and departure. Upon arrival we will verify your contact information and ask that you leave a credit card number on file. You will not be charged, your card will not have hold put on it.
What is Carden Kennels's cancellation policy?
24 hours notice is appreciated so we can offer the space to another guest. You will not be charged.
Can my Pet be Groomed during their stay?
We highly recommend a grooming. Your reunion will be that much more pleasant, when your furry friend is looking and smelling his/her best!
